The First Amendment, along with the reticuloendothelial systemt of the Bill of Rights, was adopted on December 15, 1791. The First Amendment states that Congress shall make no right respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the liberty of speech, or of the press; or the right of the band peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
